Hey all, I'm having trouble getting in contact with Nakomii/ItsProbablyMars lately.  I've sent facebook messages, emails, and left messages on her page here on DA.  Usually she gets back to me, so does anybody know if something is going on?  I'm just getting a bit anxious about a mount of mine.  If anyone can help me out, i'd appreciate it!

Hi everyone, I really need some help with this.  Long story short, I received a fox soft mount that I wasn't happy with, so I sent it to be re-mounted by a different taxidermist.  Upon taking apart my fox, the person discovered three different spots of black mold on the pelt.  I sent an email to the person who originally mounted it, and they simply told me that taxidermy is a slow drying process, and that the fox possibly got the black mold from soaking and then drying, and that black mold can just happen.  I'm no taxidermist, but I don't believe this is true.  I was also told by the other taxidermist that this information is just merely excuses.  The mount was stuffed for free, so all I wanted was a refund for the $300 I spent on the fox's pelt.  The pelt was competition quality, mind you.  And I wouldn't have had to send it off to be re-done if it didn't have blown ears, earliners showing, huge slipped spots, a big hole in the neck, understuffed legs, a smashed nose, a deformed face, untucked lips, etc etc.  I JUST want a refund for the pelt and to forget that this didn't happen, that I didn't lose my beloved fox who was unable to be saved from all the issues and the black mold.  Please, if anyone can help me, or give any advice at all, it would mean a lot to me.  I just don't think this is fair, I really don't know what to do.

edit:  I ended up getting my fox thanks to FrontierFurs, who gave me Sunset's address, which I was able to get her phone number from.  Sunset's mom sent me my fox herself, since sunset just hung up the phone on me.  goes to show what kind of girl sunset is since she has to have her mom deal with her problems for her.  :-P


Can anyone PLEASE help me get in contact with urbansunset?  I purchased pepper, a silver whitemark softmount, from her a back in november.  I sent the total of $350 for it on november 11th, and she said it had been shipped on december 11th, exactly 4 weeks from when I paid.  it is now january 2nd, and I still haven't received the fox.  holiday rush or not, I KNOW it should be here by now.  I couldn't take 3 weeks to get here, could it?  i'm getting worried.  I also haven't heard from Sunset since december 18th.  none of my emails or notes are being answered, the notes not even being read.  I'm trying to have patience in case something happened to her that's out of her control, but I can't help but start to lose that patience with this.  if it WAS in fact shipped december 11th, holiday chaos or not, it should be here by now.  if I could have at least gotten the tracking number I would have SOME idea as to what's going on, but she never gave it to me despite me asking 4 times.  i'm not the only one having issues here, I've gone from person to person who bought things from her and asked them if they've received their items yet, and they haven't either.  nor heard from her in a while.  so, what's going on?  is there a better way I can contact her other than email and notes?
